Social Sharing

IMPORTANT: In order to be able to share email links, you need to enable archiving of your campaign. You do this by going into the Campaign Settings and set the "Archive Email address" to a valid email address that is always sent to from your campaign.

If this email address does not get sent to, the archived view will not be available for the email, and social sharing will not work.

A few examples

For a simple share button for Facebook, simply use the URL:

http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u={$sc_archive}

For Twitter we'd use the URL:

https://twitter.com/share?url={$sc_archive}&text={$mailsubject}

You can pass in more arguments when sharing

Above we merely mention the most simple cases of social sharing in your emails. You can go more advanced and attach images and a longer description, etc. Please note that only the URL ($sc_archive) is mandatory in most cases below.
